What is ALPAKA.PRO?
ALPAKA.PRO is software for alpaca and llama farms, built in Germany. It combines herd management with a herd register, breeding planning with pedigrees and inbreeding coefficients, pasture management, a booking system for alpaca walks, alpaca show management and the Alpaca Store marketplace. It runs in the browser and as an iOS app, and the data is stored on servers in Germany. More than 70 farms use it to manage over 3,500 animals. Plans start at €5 a month, and the first 30 days are free.
Can I manage llamas too?
Yes. Alpacas, llamas and huarizos can all be registered, bred and managed the same way.
Can I import my data from a spreadsheet or another program?
Yes. There is an import for herd data. On request we do the import for you.
Do I need payment details for the trial?
No. The 30 days are free of obligation. Only afterwards do you decide whether to continue.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in Germany. Roles, permissions, audit log and encryption meet GDPR requirements.
Is there an Android app?
The app is currently available for iPhone and iPad. The web app works in any browser on any device, including Android.
Can I connect Claude or ChatGPT to ALPAKA.PRO?
Yes, on the Team plan and during the free trial. You set up the AI connection (MCP) in the settings and choose whether the AI may only read or also make changes. Team members can only connect with read access. Payments, emails to customers, the shop, shows and pedigrees stay off limits to the AI. Whatever it retrieves goes to its provider. You need your own Claude or ChatGPT account, on a paid plan with some providers.
